Following Congress' loss in the Haryana elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday labeled the party as irresponsible and a division-fueling entity, while the BJP claimed victory, reflecting the national mood. Modi expressed aspirations for an even larger triumph in Maharashtra, accusing the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi of seeking power by weakening the state. In contrast, he pledged that the ruling Mahayuti would fortify Maharashtra.
In his address, after virtually unveiling numerous development projects valued over Rs 7,600 crore, Modi stressed unprecedented development in Maharashtra under his watch. He contrasted the BJP's efforts with the Congress's legacy of corruption.
Modi reiterated accusations that Congress manipulates divisions among communities for political gains, asserting an inclusive vision for India's future centered on the development of impoverished, farmers, youth, and women.
