In a sharp critique, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday expressed discontent over Congress's independent strategy in the Haryana assembly elections. Raut remarked that Congress underestimated the need for collaborative alliances, an oversight that likely cost them the electoral victory that many anticipated for them.
Raut further elaborated on the elections in Jammu and Kashmir, noting the strategic importance of the region. Despite article 370 being a contentious point, the BJP faced setbacks there, while the INDIA alliance emerged victoriously with support from JKNC under Chief Farooq Abdullah.
Meanwhile, UBT Sena's role has gained prominence with the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Uddhav Thackeray, the party chief, has committed to supporting Congress and NCP's candidate, emphasizing joint efforts for electoral success in the state. The Maharashtra Assembly elections are anticipated later this year, awaiting formal announcement from the Election Commission.
