In the wake of the Bharatiya Janata Party's third consecutive victory in Haryana, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah has called for deep introspection within the Congress party to address their defeat.
The National Conference and Congress, having contended together in the Jammu and Kashmir state assembly elections, face the challenge of regrouping after unexpected results contradicting the exit polls that predicted a Congress win in Haryana.
Highlighting discrepancies between exit poll predictions and actual results, Abdullah emphasized the need for Congress to uncover the reasons behind the loss while maintaining his focus on leading the alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.
