In a burgeoning controversy, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to 'usurp' the residence of Delhi's Chief Minister, days after Atishi moved into bungalow number 6 on Flagstaff Road.
Atishi's relocation follows her predecessor Arvind Kejriwal's exit from the bungalow, as he transitions to a new residence in Lutyens' Delhi. However, AAP is alleging that the situation is marred by BJP's interference.
During a press meeting, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh highlighted that BJP has not only spread unfounded rumors but also contrived this turmoil to dismantle AAP, especially with its struggles in the Delhi assembly polls. The BJP, defending its stance, shared a letter from the Public Works Department, countering that the bungalow's keys remain with Kejriwal.
