Haryana Power Shift: BJP's Saini to Lead

In a significant political development, Haryana's Nayab Singh Saini met Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his anticipated swearing-in as the state's Chief Minister. This follows the BJP's resounding success in the assembly elections.
The BJP, replacing Manohar Lal Khattar with Saini earlier this year, signaled its intent to appoint Saini from the Other Backward Classes to the top position if victorious. Post-meeting, Saini lauded PM Modi's governance for the electoral victory.
Saini dismissed Congress' EVM manipulation claims as baseless, asserting PM Modi's schemes have positively impacted society's various sections. The BJP's unprecedented win, securing 48 seats, halted Congress' resurgence while marginalizing parties like the JJP and AAP.
