The National Conference, spearheaded by Vice-President Omar Abdullah, has emerged victorious in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, securing an overwhelming majority with 48 seats. Nationalist Congress Party leader Supriya Sule extended her congratulations to Abdullah, reflecting on the remarkable commitment shown by the party's leadership.
However, Sule expressed disappointment over Congress' performance in Haryana, despite high expectations. She noted concerns over the counting process and highlighted the need for her party to discuss these issues with Congress ahead of the Maharashtra elections.
Communist Party of India General Secretary D Raja called for introspection within the INDIA bloc, questioning the lack of mutual trust and accommodation during the seat-sharing arrangements. As the BJP clinches a third successive government with a strong performance in Haryana, significant lessons await for the Congress.
