Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Anurag Thakur asserted on Tuesday that the Congress' 'Khata-Khat' model has faltered in Haryana, attributing BJP's electoral success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies. He expressed gratitude to supporters for the BJP's widespread victories, emphasizing the significant role of party workers' dedication.
Thakur referred to the latest election results, declared earlier the same day, stating, "The hard work of BJP supporters has paid off, with every community backing the BJP on voting day. It's due to Modi's policies benefiting BJP at all levels, while Congress suffers from unfulfilled promises in various states," he commented.
Addressing results from Jammu and Kashmir, Thakur acknowledged BJP's commendable performance despite areas for improvement. He praised record voter turnout, considering it a testament to India's robust democratic spirit, while the National Conference-Congress alliance dominated with 48 seats. In Haryana, BJP achieved an absolute majority, poised to establish its third government in the state.
