In a recent critique of the Congress party, BRS leader K T Rama Rao expressed that while Congress could temporarily win over Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana with election promises, Haryana's electorate wasn't so easily convinced by their 'propaganda.'
Following the assembly election results, Rao commented on social media platform 'X' that Congress risks major pitfalls by failing to deliver on its commitments in a globally connected world. The results in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, Rao suggests, indicate a tough road ahead for major parties, such as Congress and BJP, in the 2029 Lok Sabha polls.
Rao noted that the election outcomes reinforce the influence of strong regional parties in shaping the future Union Government. Meanwhile, the BJP's success in Haryana for a third consecutive term signals sustained support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, with BJP officials celebrating their victory enthusiastically.
