In a decisive political development, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday proclaimed the triumph of the Congress-NC alliance in Jammu and Kashmir as a powerful response to the BJP's controversial policies, alleged rights violations, and misuse of constitutional institutions.
Kharge assured the public that the coalition government plans to diligently fulfill the aspirations of Jammu and Kashmir's residents. He emphasized the alliance's commitment to safeguarding constitutional rights, while reflecting on the setback in Haryana's elections which he described as "unexpected."
In a statement on X, Kharge expressed gratitude to voters in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana, urging Congress supporters to remain resilient in their fight. He acknowledged National Conference leaders Farooq and Omar Abdullah for their roles in securing the alliance's success in Jammu and Kashmir.
