Britain has levied sanctions against Russian military forces accused of deploying chemical weapons in Ukraine, calling the tactics 'cruel and inhumane'.
The sanctions target Russia's Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defence Troops and its chief, Igor Kirillov, according to a government statement.
