CPI MP P Sandosh Kumar has expressed satisfaction over the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election results, calling them "very happy news." However, he cautioned Congress leaders against acting like "mass leaders" or "rajas," urging the party to glean lessons from the outcome.
The National Conference and Congress alliance secured a notable victory, as per the Election Commission's website. The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) claimed 42 seats, while the BJP garnered 29 seats, and Congress took 6 seats.
Kumar emphasized the ongoing threat from the BJP and RSS, advocating for improved alliance collaboration. He also called for the immediate restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood, seeing the results as a public rejection of BJP's policies after the Article 370 abrogation.
