In a stirring assertion of confidence, Congress leader Amin Patel has projected a victory for the Congress party in the Haryana Assembly elections, suggesting they will secure more than 45 seats. Despite current trends showing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead in 48 seats, Patel remains undeterred.

The latest data from the Election Commission indicates BJP's dominance in nearly half of Haryana's 90 Assembly seats, with Congress trailing, leading in 36 seats. Still, Patel believes unreported results could favor Congress. He similarly voiced confidence in the Jammu and Kashmir elections, predicting a coalition government with the National Conference (NC).

For Jammu and Kashmir, the NC-Congress alliance is holding strong, leading or winning 48 out of 90 seats. BJP stands at 29 seats. In Haryana, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who has secured his constituency of Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, echoed this optimism. Hooda confidently stated that Congress is poised to achieve a majority, though counting delays temper the clarity of the situation.
