The Congress-led opposition UDF on Wednesday launched a fierce attack on Kerala's left-state government, accusing it of shielding ADGP Ajithkumar following his interactions with RSS leaders.
The opposition insisted on transparency, demanding the tabling of a DGP report in the assembly. Despite various allegations against Ajithkumar, the government, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, has denied any veneer of protection or collaboration with the RSS.
In a heated discussion during an adjournment motion, questions were raised regarding the ADGP's transfer and the alleged remarks of CM Vijayan against Malappuram district. The LDF government continues to refute claims of fostering any RSS connections.
