The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a commanding lead in the Haryana assembly elections, according to early trends. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attributed the Congress's anticipated losses to Rahul Gandhi's ineffective leadership.
Yadav remarked that even Congress members do not consider Gandhi a strong leader, as illustrated by BJP's lead in 50 out of Haryana's 90 assembly seats. He stated that the electorate's decision favors the BJP's development-focused agenda.
He further elaborated that the poll results underscore public confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the governance of the 'double-engine' government. Yadav criticized Congress for being out of touch with voter sentiment, envisioning a third consecutive term for the BJP symbolized by the blooming lotus.
