Sadiq garnered 22,189 votes, with Ansari securing 6,016. Zadibal, a Shia majority area in Downtown, witnessed former Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu lose his security deposit.

In a significant electoral triumph, National Conference leader Tanvir Sadiq has secured a commanding victory in the Zadibal constituency of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sadiq's win is marked by a substantial margin, as he amassed 22,189 votes against People's Conference candidate Abid Hussain Ansari, who received only 6,016 votes.
The Shia-majority area of Zadibal, located in Downtown, also saw former Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu among eight candidates who lost their security deposits.
