The political tussle between the AAP and BJP escalated on Friday as they traded barbs over the reemployment of former bus marshals in Delhi. Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj sharply criticized the BJP for allegedly reversing its stance on the issue.
Significant tensions were evident during a recent two-day Delhi Assembly session on September 26. The debate culminated with both parties agreeing to meet Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to seek restoration of the marshals' positions on October 3.
Nonetheless, tempers flared as no meeting took place, with Bharadwaj accusing the LG of authoritarian behavior. BJP's Vijender Gupta countered, accusing AAP of emotional manipulation, insisting that a new resolution be approved for the reinstatement and reservation provisions for disadvantaged communities.
