Former MP Ashok Tanwar officially returned to the Congress on Friday, urging all sections, particularly Dalits and backward classes in Haryana, to ensure a significant mandate for the party in the forthcoming assembly elections. This move aims to send a strong message nationwide.
Tanwar, who had been informally associated with the Congress during Rahul Gandhi's rally in Mahendragarh, mentioned that he was left disheartened by his experiences with BJP and highlighted the lack of faith within the BJP towards Babasahab Ambedkar's constitution.
He credits Congress for his political rise and emphasized Rahul Gandhi's efforts in strengthening the country's unity. Previously with BJP, Tanwar campaigned against his former party and urged the public to support Congress for Haryana's development.
