Kejriwal's New Chapter: A Shift to Lutyens' Zone

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal vacated his Flagstaff Road residence to relocate to a new address in the upscale Lutyens' Zone. The move follows his resignation and a period in jail due to controversies including accusations related to an excise policy. Kejriwal aims at re-establishing his political career.

In a significant move, Arvind Kejriwal, the former Chief Minister of Delhi, vacated his residence at 6, Flagstaff Road on Friday. This change is part and parcel of his shift to a new abode in the prestigious Lutyens' Zone of the city.

This relocation comes after Kejriwal resigned from his post last month, vowing to return only after proving his integrity to Delhi's citizens in the upcoming Assembly elections. Currently settled at party member Ashok Mittal's residence on Ferozeshah Road, which was officially allocated to Mittal as a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, Kejriwal faces ongoing scrutiny from the BJP over alleged corruption.

Kejriwal's reputation faced challenges following his release from Tihar Jail on September 13, after securing bail from the Supreme Court over the excise policy case. The move to leave his ministerial residence aligns with a promise made during Navratri, coinciding with a strategic political repositioning.
