Blazes Erupt in Russia's Perm and Voronezh Regions
Fires erupted at fuel depots in Russia's Perm and Voronezh regions. The Perm fire, covering 10,000 square meters, was extinguished with no injuries. The Voronezh fire, caused by a Ukrainian drone attack, was also contained without damage or casualties, officials reported.
Fires were successfully extinguished at separate fuel depots in Russia’s Perm and Voronezh regions, officials announced on Friday. The blaze in the Perm region consumed 10,000 square meters and severely damaged fuel tanks before being contained without injuries, according to the emergencies ministry.
A similar incident occurred in the Voronezh region, reportedly caused by a Ukrainian drone attack. The local governor, Alexander Gusev, stated that air defenses neutralized several Ukrainian drones. A small fire ensued at an empty storage tank, but there were no injuries or damage to the depot.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the Perm blaze, as officials continue to monitor the situation closely.
