BJP MP Anurag Thakur has voiced sharp criticism against the Gandhi family for their continued silence regarding the unmet promises in Himachal Pradesh. Despite the Congress's assurances, key issues such as allowances for women, affordable cow dung and milk pricing for farmers, job opportunities for youth, and free electricity remain unresolved.
The former Union minister expressed concern over the situation, noting the challenges faced by mothers, sisters, farmers, and unemployed youth in the state. They have been waiting for the implementation of benefits like Rs 1500 per month allowances, purchase of cow dung at Rs 2 per kg, and milk at Rs 80-100 per litre, alongside promises of job creation and free electricity.
Thakur pointed out the disparity between the Congress's promises and the reality on the ground, highlighting the lack of response from Sonia, Rahul, and Priyanka Gandhi. His remarks came shortly after Priyanka Gandhi praised the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh during an election rally in Haryana, asserting that it was returning funds to the public through welfare schemes.
