Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange, after being discharged from a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, announced his plans for a major Dussehra rally in Beed. Jarange's health had deteriorated during a hunger strike in Jalna district.
Seeking reservation under the Kunbi category for the Maratha community, Jarange aims to hold the rally in Narayangad, Beed, with the support of people from across the state. He emphasized the event's focus on unity, urging no political implications be drawn.
When questioned about participating in the upcoming assembly elections, likely in November, Jarange reiterated warnings against those opposing the Maratha quota movement but did not confirm any plans to field candidates.
