Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) chances in the upcoming Haryana assembly elections, dismissing the opposition Congress's 'divisive and negative' politics. Sharing his observations on the social media platform X, he highlighted the enthusiastic support he witnessed for the BJP during his campaign tours across the state.
Speaking at a rally in Palwal, he criticized Congress for its alleged opposition to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and failure to implement constitutional provisions in Jammu and Kashmir. He accused Congress of harboring an 'urban naxal' agenda and not prioritizing issues like Article 370 or the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Modi further accused Congress of being the 'biggest anti-Dalit party' in India, claiming it plans to dismantle the reservation system, with Haryana as a testing ground. He emphasized that as long as BJP is in power, reservations will remain intact. Haryana's election is scheduled for October 5, with results declared on October 8.
