In the Bansdroni locality, protests erupted after a class 9 student was tragically killed under a payloader on Wednesday, prompting locals to gherao police personnel.
Kolkata Police Commissioner Manoj Verma clarified that Ganguly's demands were met with advice to pursue legal channels, as the detainees were charged with specific offenses.
