A political clash erupted in Nanded, Maharashtra, as a Shiv Sena (UBT) worker alleged he was attacked by BJP functionaries over a contentious social media post, according to local police reports.
The victim, Santosh Wadvale, claimed he was kidnapped and assaulted with a sword, resulting in serious injuries, and was robbed of Rs 25,000. He named Pratap Patil Chikhlikar and Pravin Patil Chikhlikar as suspects in the violent incident.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve criticized Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, pointing to a need for control over party members amidst accusations of treating Nanded as personal fiefdoms.
