In a fervent appeal, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday urged the residents of Haryana to vote against the BJP in the upcoming October 5 assembly polls, framing the election as a battle against wickedness, injustice, and untruth.

Speaking at a public rally in Julana, she campaigned for her party's constituency candidate and Olympic wrestler, Vinesh Phogat. Gandhi criticized the BJP-led government on several issues, including employment, the Agniveer military recruitment scheme, and farmers' welfare, alleging widespread betrayal by the ruling party.

Claiming that the Modi government prioritizes the interests of industrialists over the general public, Gandhi accused the Centre of failing to generate employment and mismanaging resources, such as land and industries. She also condemned the controversial Agnipath scheme and other policies, calling for the ousting of the BJP government.
