Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Anurag Thakur launched a fierce criticism against the Congress party ahead of the Haryana elections, accusing them of intending to loot the state's citizens if elected. Thakur alleged that Congress aims to establish a 'kharchi parchi' government notorious for corruption.
Thakur stated, 'First they will fill their houses, then of their relatives. Congress has decided that they are going to rob the people of Haryana. A Congress MLA said that for fifty votes, they would give one job, indicating intending to set up a shop of corruption.' He further criticized the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government, saying they failed to fulfill their promises, and Rahul Gandhi chose to go abroad instead of addressing the issues.
Thakur also underscored unkept promises in Haryana, including unfulfilled employment and pension commitments. He claimed that Congress ignored soldiers' requests for equipment, resulting in casualties, unlike BJP, which he praised for providing necessary resources under the 'Make in India' initiative. Thakur also attributed land scandal allegations to Congress's Bhupinder Hooda. Haryana will go to the polls on October 5, with counting set for October 8.
