Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on opposition BJP, accusing them of indulging in vote-bank politics as helicopters carrying its leaders repeatedly visited the state ahead of upcoming assembly polls.
Speaking at an event in Bokaro, where he laid the foundation stones and unveiled projects totaling around Rs 1,241 crore, Soren affirmed that the ruling JMM-led coalition is fully engaged in executing development initiatives benefiting the people of Jharkhand.
'Helicopters carrying BJP leaders are hovering over Jharkhand, focusing only on vote-bank politics,' Soren said. He accused the BJP of orchestrating a conspiracy to destabilize the JMM-led government by using central agencies and claimed that despite setbacks like COVID-19, their development projects are progressing swiftly.
