Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday held a detailed discussion with the party leaders and workers in Mumbai's Dadar, declaring that the formation of a 'Mahayuti' government in Maharashtra is certain. Shah criticized the MVA alliance for its alleged appeasement politics, contrasting it with the NDA's developmental record under Prime Minister Modi's leadership. 'Today in the meeting in Dadar, Mumbai, the workers took a pledge to form the NDA government,' Shah posted on X.

Addressing the party workers, Shah emphasized that the BJP aims to work on ideology rather than to rule. 'The formation of a Mahayuti government in Maharashtra is certain. No one has the courage to stop Mahayuti from winning the elections in Maharashtra,' he asserted. He also stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership has significantly boosted the respect and pride of Indians worldwide.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar, and other leaders were in attendance. Shah previously held a similar meeting in Nashik, emphasizing the NDA's developmental focus and criticizing the MVA for being anti-Dalit, anti-farmer, and anti-women. Shah expressed confidence in the NDA mobilizing support and preparing for the upcoming elections in the state's 288 constituencies, where the contest will be between the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition and the Maha Yuti Alliance.
