Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Tuesday questioned the ruling Left government and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan regarding actions taken against groups smuggling gold into the state and allegedly using the money for anti-national activities.

Khan stated that he learned about this from a newspaper quoting Vijayan, who has access to full information on the matter. The Governor demanded that Vijayan disclose what steps have been implemented.

The Governor emphasized that holding the reins of power requires action, not just statements, and announced plans to request a detailed report on the issue upon his return to Thiruvananthapuram.
