Devender Singh Rana, BJP candidate for the Nagrota Assembly seat, cast his vote in Jammu on Tuesday morning. Post-voting, Rana praised Prime Minister Modi's leadership for instilling faith in the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Rana described the election as a 'festival of democracy,' noting the enthusiastic participation of voters. He expressed confidence that, for the first time, a full majority BJP government would be formed in Jammu and Kashmir. Polling began at 7 AM today in the final phase of the elections, covering 40 constituencies — 24 in the Jammu division and 16 in the Kashmir Valley.

In a social media post, PM Modi expressed confidence in winning the election and commended the notable increase in female voter turnout. He urged first-time voters to exercise their franchise, emphasizing the importance of their participation in the democratic process.
