Jan Suraaj founder and election strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor on Monday labelled Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a 'weaker PM' in his third term, noting a decrease in Modi's popularity and strength. He pointed out that, despite BJP's seat wins in Bihar, significant changes in people's lives remain absent.
'PM Modi is a weaker PM in his third term, you can see that. I had predicted this before the elections, regardless of the number of seats won,' Kishor told ANI. He added that people have observed Modi's work for a decade without substantial improvement.
Discussing Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Kishor noted that Gandhi's leadership within Congress is now fully established. However, he remarked that Gandhi still has a long way to go to become a national leader. 'There has been some progress in Congress's situation, thanks to Gandhi's efforts over the past 1.5-2 years,' Kishor commented, comparing Gandhi's journey to that of Indira Gandhi post-1977.
