Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday over his 'naach-gaana' remark regarding the January 22 consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Adityanath claimed Gandhi's comment reflects what his family has been doing their entire life.
Addressing rallies in Hisar and Panchkula districts for the upcoming October 5 Haryana assembly polls, Adityanath highlighted the 500-year struggle and sacrifices made for the Ram temple. He juxtaposed the 'culture of Ram' with what he termed the 'culture of Rome,' criticizing the Congress for its alleged indifference to Lord Ram and Lord Krishna.
In response to Gandhi's viral video clip where he mentioned that no poor people, laborers, or farmers were invited to the Ram temple ceremony, the BJP retorted that Gandhi's comments reveal the true nature of his family and their contempt for Hinduism. The BJP hopes to leverage these sentiments to secure a third consecutive term in Haryana.
