Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj, criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday, stating that Kumar has delegated the state's entire system to his advisors rather than to MLAs, ministers, and party workers. Kishor claimed that JD(U) has no future, asserting that when Nitish Kumar, the 'capital' of JD(U), is gone, the party will collapse. He stated that Kumar's advisors, who are retired officers, are running the state unchecked due to Kumar's alleged lack of activity prompted by his health conditions.
Kishor also took aim at RJD leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav. He argued that Tejashwi has no identity apart from being Lalu's son and criticized his educational background, highlighting that Tejashwi failed to pass class 9. Kishor questioned Tejashwi's capability to contribute to Bihar's education system given his own disinterest in formal education.
The Bihar Assembly elections are anticipated to take place in October-November 2025, amid these heated political exchanges.
