The United States and Israel are currently engaged in ongoing discussions to determine the most effective strategy moving forward, the Pentagon announced on Monday. Israel's plans for a ground offensive in Lebanon remain a key topic of these conversations, with no definitive answers yet available.
During a news briefing, Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh informed reporters that dialogue with Israel continues as the two countries seek to understand more about each other's positions and intentions. "We're continuing to engage with them, trying to learn more. We continue discussions on the best way forward," Singh stated.
Additionally, Singh clarified that while Israel did notify the U.S. of its airstrikes in Yemen on Sunday, there was no coordination between the two nations for that specific operation.
