Eminent Citizens Join BJP in Mass Membership Drive Led by Hardeep Singh Puri

Thousands of citizens from diverse professions have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), further strengthening the party's expansive reach. In a membership drive at the residence of senior BJP leader and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, thirty high-profile individuals from sectors like healthcare, industry, environment, and non-governmental organizations took the oath.
The new members praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting India's remarkable transformation under his governance, especially in areas like infrastructure and economic growth. They noted how India scaled from a fragile economy to being among the world's top five economies, with aspirations of soon becoming the third largest.
Union Minister Puri welcomed the new members, emphasizing their role and commitment in forwarding the vision of a developed India. He stated that their experience would fortify the party's efforts in shaping the nation's future. Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a successful enrollment of 53 lakh members in Assam, marking 85 per cent of the state's target. This membership drive, launched by Prime Minister Modi on September 2, 2024, underscores BJP's growing clout nationwide.
