On Monday, the BJP sharply criticized Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, labeling his remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi as 'absolutely distasteful and disgraceful.'
The party underscored that Modi secured his third consecutive term as Prime Minister through the people's mandate, not due to the Congress president's 'grace.'
Speaking at a rally in Kathua, Kharge claimed he would not die until Modi was removed from power, vowing that the Congress would campaign for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood. BJP leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, responded by condemning Kharge's statements and expressing their wishes for his long life, despite the political vitriol.
