RTI activist and key petitioner in the MUDA scam case, Snehamayi Krishna, has claimed that he is being targeted with baseless FIRs. In an interview with ANI on Monday, Krishna disclosed that over 23 false complaints have been filed against him, with the courts proving his innocence in eight cases and police investigations dismissing nine others as false.
Krishna accused the state government of attempting to stifle his activism through these allegations. He referred to a complaint filed at Nanjanagudu police station, asserting that he was in Mysuru at the time of the alleged harassment incident. Krishna remains steadfast in his resolve to continue his fight against corruption.
Addressing the MUDA scam, Krishna called for extensive investigations into alleged corruption exceeding Rs 5,000 crore within the Mysuru Urban Development Authority. He urged for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) inquiry, pointing to significant corruption under Siddaramaiah's government and irregularities in MUDA site allotments. He noted that inquiries by the Lokayukta are currently underway.
