National Conference Vice President and candidate for Ganderbal and Budgam, Omar Abdullah, on Sunday expressed confidence in securing victory in the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that the NC-Congress alliance could win without relying on administrative assistance.
Speaking to ANI, Abdullah alleged interference by the administration but stated, "By God's grace, our party has the strength to win the elections without the administration's help." He also criticized BJP officials sent to Jammu and Kashmir for election assistance, asserting that their activities should cease.
Abdullah added, "The BJP is not contesting enough seats to secure a majority on their own." He questioned the BJP's motive behind demoting Jammu and Kashmir to a Union Territory and vowed to restore statehood after the elections, expressing faith in the Supreme Court.
