The Israeli military announced on Sunday that it had killed Nabil Kaouk, a high-ranking Hezbollah official, in an airstrike as the Lebanese militant group struggled from multiple severe losses, including the death of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
Nabil Kaouk, deputy head of Hezbollah's Central Council, was reportedly killed on Saturday. Hezbollah has yet to comment on the strike's location.
In recent weeks, Israel has eliminated several senior Hezbollah commanders, some of whom have evaded capture or death for decades and were close to Nasrallah. The death toll and displacement figures from the ongoing conflict are also mounting, as Lebanese authorities report over 1,000 deaths and hundreds of thousands displaced.
