Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has emphasized the need for more women in politics to achieve true equality and justice. Speaking on Sunday, he urged passionate women to join the 'Shakti Abhiyan,' an initiative aiming to provide equal political space for women's interests.
Gandhi highlighted the success of the 'Indira Fellowship,' launched a year ago to amplify women's voices in politics. The program has now evolved into a significant movement for women's leadership. 'Aadhi Abadi, Poora Haq' represents this unwavering commitment to gender equality in politics, he stated.
He called on women to become active participants in women-centric politics by registering at http:haktiabhiyan.in. This involvement will contribute to building strong grassroots organizations and driving significant change from villages to the national level, Gandhi added.
