Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has confidently predicted a strong mandate for Congress in the approaching Haryana Assembly elections. Dismissing allegations of internal conflicts, Hooda asserted the unity within Congress and positioned himself as a prime contender for the chief ministerial role.
Hooda criticized the current BJP administration, accusing them of betraying public trust and failing to uphold constitutional reservations. He pledged that, under Congress rule, Haryana would reclaim its top positions in employment, law and order, and other key metrics.
The 77-year-old leader remains unfazed by the campaigns of smaller political parties, labeling the contest as a direct face-off between Congress and BJP. Votes for the 90-member Haryana Assembly will be cast on October 5 and counted on October 8.
