Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday sharply criticized the JMM-led coalition government in Jharkhand, alleging misuse of central funds allocated for various schemes. Chouhan declared that an investigation would be conducted into the utilization of MGNREGA funds.

Launching a scathing attack, Chouhan labeled the Hemant Soren-led government as corrupt and accused it of jeopardizing the future of the state's youth. Speaking at a BJP rally, he claimed significant corruption within the administration and called for voters to oust the JMM coalition in upcoming elections.

Chouhan articulated a range of promises, including free solar power, increased honorariums for women, housing, and job fulfillment if the BJP is elected. He criticized the current government for failing to deliver on job promises and mishandling an excise police recruitment drive, resulting in fatalities. Asserting that change is essential for the development of Jharkhand, Chouhan reaffirmed BJP's commitment to bringing about this change through its 'Parivartan Yatra'.
