'Dev's trembling cry – Papa, come back! – was heart-rending,' Gandhi said, expressing his determination to address the emotional and economic distress caused by migration. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being disconnected from such issues, emphasizing that it's Congress's responsibility to ensure youth in Haryana can thrive within the state itself.
Gandhi outlined a series of promises aimed at improving the lives of Haryana's residents. These include financial support for women, filling government job vacancies, guaranteeing Minimum Support Prices for farmers, providing housing for the poor, and protecting the Constitution. He stressed the need for a caste census to better allocate resources and called for collective action to create a state where families can live without fear or sorrow.
