Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday questioned Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's stance regarding the National Conference's demand to reinstate Article 370 and Article 35A, along with a separate flag for Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a gathering in the Ramgarh Assembly Constituency, CM Yogi asked, "Does Rahul Gandhi support pushing Jammu and Kashmir into an era of unrest and terrorism?"

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Rahul Gandhi and reminded the public of Congress's history of imposing presidential rule in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a public meeting in Kathua, Shah cited a high voter turnout as evidence of the end of terrorism in the region, attributing this to PM Modi's leadership.

Amit Shah praised the strengthening of democracy in Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the participation of over 40,000 local leaders in governance due to efforts by PM Modi. He urged voters to support BJP candidates, warning that a victory for Congress or NC would lead to celebrations in Pakistan. Shah emphasized that the BJP would not allow the abolition of reservation, as alleged by Rahul Gandhi.
