Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate, is set to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and British Prime Minister Keith Starmer at Trump Tower, New York, amidst the U.N. General Assembly. Previously, Trump held a meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Friday, following a separate meeting with British Prime Minister Keith Starmer on Thursday night at his Trump Tower property in New York.
Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, disclosed the upcoming meetings during a Thursday press conference. Both foreign leaders are attending the U.N. General Assembly and are among many officials seeking to meet Trump ahead of the Nov. 5 election.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Trump met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, widely known as MBZ, according to sources. The Trump campaign and the UAE embassy in Washington did not provide comments regarding this meeting.
Trump's meeting with Zelenskiy followed days of speculation from campaign officials hinting that such an engagement was unlikely.
