Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav asserted on Thursday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to form the government in Haryana, promising unprecedented developmental milestones with a double-engine government. Yadav made these remarks while campaigning for a BJP candidate in the Nandgaon seat of Bhiwani district.

'According to the response I am getting, the BJP will form the government in Haryana with all the seats in Bhiwani district. Haryana and Delhi, that is, the double-engine government, will together create new records of development,' Yadav said. Earlier, on Wednesday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed similar confidence in BJP's third consecutive victory, adding that people favor the double-engine model.

'The people of Haryana have decided that the BJP will form the government for the third time. On October 5, people will vote for the double-engine government. Bhupinder Singh Hooda was CM for 10 years and only betrayed farmers by grabbing their lands for his advantage,' Saini stated. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi campaigned in Assandh, Karnal, criticizing the BJP government's handling of employment and agricultural issues ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections.

'Narendra Modi and the Haryana government have destroyed the employment system. Children have left for abroad and won't return for ten years due to adverse conditions. Modi gave away your farmland to Adani, and while farmers' loans remain unpaid, capitalist debts are waived,' Gandhi claimed. Haryana votes on October 5 with results expected on October 8. (ANI)
