Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured the public that the menace of terrorism has been eradicated and will not resurface under the BJP rule, while addressing a rally. Shah criticized the National Conference-Congress alliance, suggesting they would impose Pakistan's agenda if they come to power.
Highlighting the abrogation of Article 370, Shah linked this move to the fulfillment of a long-standing BJP goal, attributing it to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that anyone who spreads terror in Jammu and Kashmir will face severe repercussions, including the gallows.
Shah pointed to the past handling of stone pelters and terrorists under previous regimes, claiming strict laws enforced by the current government had put an end to such activities. He is slated to address multiple rallies in Udhampur, Kathua, and Jammu districts, with the final phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir taking place on October 1.
