Delhi Minister Gopal Rai arrived at the Delhi Assembly on Thursday for the first day of a special two-day session. The primary agenda is to seek a vote of confidence in newly appointed Chief Minister Atishi. 'After the new cabinet under Atishi has taken charge, the government will move a vote of confidence in the House,' said Gopal Rai.

Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj indicated that issues like the illegal felling of trees in the Ridge and the removal of bus marshals are expected to be discussed. 'We will discuss the matter of removing bus marshals and the illegal felling of trees in the Ridge area. Tomorrow, a vote of confidence motion could be brought,' Bharadwaj added.

Rising pollution levels in Delhi ahead of the winter season are also on the agenda. Environment Minister Gopal Rai discussed the city's action plan, highlighting this year's winter theme: 'Milkar chalein aur pradushan se ladein.' 'Our government will implement the winter action plan with this theme,' he stated.

Meanwhile, former CM Arvind Kejriwal and CM Atishi inspected a damaged road site in the capital on Thursday. Kejriwal reassured citizens that all pending work would be completed now that he is out of jail. 'They stopped work in Delhi by sending me to jail. Today, I inspected a road with CM Atishi. The road will be repaired soon along with other damaged roads in Delhi,' Kejriwal posted on X.
