Uttar Pradesh Minister and National President of Nishad Party, Sanjay Kumar Nishad, expressed confidence in a BJP victory in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections while speaking to ANI. Nishad believes that the residents of Jammu and Kashmir will support BJP with a full majority, citing improved security conditions since the abrogation of Article 370 as a key factor.

Nishad also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for promising 'full statehood' to Jammu and Kashmir, arguing that Gandhi's stance on Article 370 has shifted. 'Some time back he was talking about removing Article 370 from the state; how come his pitch changed now?' asked Nishad.

In addition to electoral matters, Nishad condemned the recent attacks on two Hindu temples in the USA. One attack occurred at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Sacramento, California, on September 25, following another incident in New York on September 17. 'I condemned the incident that happened in US's Hindu temple; we want Hindus to live peacefully. And in our India too, people from all over the world are living and doing business. I criticise the raising of such slogans as an insult to our country,' said Nishad.

Local authorities, including the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, responded to the vandalism, which included anti-Hindu graffiti and cut water lines. The local Hindu community has responded by reaffirming their commitment to standing united against hate.
