The two-day session of the Delhi Assembly started on a stormy note as BJP and AAP leaders clashed, causing the speaker to temporarily adjourn the proceedings.
Speaker Ram Niwas Goel listed names of leaders scheduled to raise issues, prompting objections from BJP members who demanded their issues also be addressed.
The aggressive exchange of slogans between AAP and BJP leaders led to a 15-minute adjournment. BJP MLAs called for pending CAG reports to be presented in the House.
The LG Secretariat instructed top officials to ensure the apex auditor's reports are laid before the Assembly. The new government, headed by Chief Minister Atishi, is expected to seek a vote of trust in the House on Friday.
